100 Easy Lessons to Teach your Child to Read
Here is a curriculum that is so easy to use. It does not require a lot of manipulatives and only 15 minutes a day!

Testing Reading Comprehension
If I’m not using a Reading Curriculum with my older children, now that they are reading, how can I test their comprehension? They are reading more books that I have time to read!

Read to your Children
The #1 indicator for success in school later on is parents or caregivers reading often to children! Just read lots of books to your children.
If your child is not yet reading, DON’T BE DISCOURAGED! My third daughter did not learn to read until 3rd grade. We switched from 100 Easy Lessons to All About Reading, which gave us some more repetition on sight words. She also listened to many audio books. She has learned tons of history by listening to audio books, especially The Story of the World.
